Lost Horizon has a puzzle that can only be considered a *tribute* to that insane excess, but is a game that's self aware about its absurd puzzles any better?Well, in this case, yes! As thoroughly insane as several puzzle strings in Lost Horizon are, especially when recounting them to friends, the game does a pretty good job of making every individual piece seem sensible, even if the total goal is absolutely ridiculous. The totality seems insane, but you have a pretty good idea of what led you along each step. Lost Horizon also includes a feature to highlight all the points of interaction and is reasonably clear about when backtracking is necessary, so it's not utter nonsense.You're probably still better off checking out a walkthrough rather than banging your head against some of these puzzles, but Lost Horizon is such a joy overall that I don't think these obtuse puzzles really harm it, and the moments where you deftly chain one thing to another across an entire chapter are extremely rewarding.I'm probably the last person who ought to be telling you this but I don't think moon logic is the be-all, end-all metric to review point-and-click adventures and Lost Horizon repays the frustration of its wacky puzzles with one of the most fun stories I've experienced in the genre. Just know what you're in for and give it a try. You'll thank me later!. It is a rather decent point&click, and the graphics are awesome. Don't expect much in the story department, as it is not very original, but it is well made, and it is definately not bad. Some of the puzzles are try-all-combos. The characters are rather bland, but all in all, Lost Horizon is well made on all accounts. It is not superb, but it is good. Good graphics, excellent animation, decent voice-acting, and decent puzzles for the most parts.. A fun adventure with beautiful voice acting nice graphics... You can finish the game with trial and error when stuck and you don't even need to look for solution on the internet.. The best of all the Secret Files/Lost Horizon games!OK, there's only one Lost Horizon game (at the time of writing this) but they're all from the same developer. Of all the games this is the best one and it's also the first one I played. I graphics are much better than any of the other Secret Files games and the backgrounds are in a different style which look so much nicer.I've played this game many times and always enjoy it. The puzzle solving is on true form here, especially the puzzle at the very end of the game.Highly recommended is you're a fan of point-and-click adventures and/or the Secret Files series!. This game is among the quality ones in my opinion.After playing the game halfway through, I got to admit, this is one of the better point and click adventure game I’ve played since Syberia and Longest Journey.The world is very colorful with very nice visual and art. This is very pleasing to the eye. There are many locations where the game will explore that keep things interesting. There is a good amount of characters to encounter with good voice acting.You can get a good 10+ hours of gameplay.The cons in this game are the usual ones in any point and click adventure. Without the hint icon, you have to pixel find a key object. Some key objects are so small, it just blends in with the beautiful background.Another con is picking up random objects for no good reason until eventually be useful later in the game.There is also no achievements or cards for some reason.All in all, this game is a great game and recommended for adventure gamers out there.. Pretty simple but funny and entertaining movie-like quest. Indiana Jones meets, well, Indiana Jones again.. Ok not an easy game to review. I decided to give it a thumbs up from the enjoyement my family got from it. I played it on my computer and projected it on to the 50in tv. I should let you know that I got this dirt cheap.+ Atmosphere: yes it does rip off a lot but at least the source material it stole from is great. + Voice acting- Gameplay: easy puzzles to just guesswork. Aolt of repetive back and forth visting places I have been just for one item.For the most part this is family friendly game.. Pretty cool story, enjoyable for people that like quests.
